Directions and Usage
HAY and FORAGE CROPS such as ALFALFA, CLOVER, GRASSES (Orchard grasses and Timothy grass seed): Use 3 - 10 pounds per acre. Apply when new growth reaches 6 - 8 inches in height. Repeat
application to new growth after each cutting.
SMALL GRAINS (Wheat, Barley, Oats, Rye, Rice): Use 3 to 10 lbs. per acre. Apply at tillering and again at early boot stage in sufficient waterfor coverage by air or ground application equipment.
BEANS, PEAS, LENTILS, RAPESEED (Canola): Use 3 to 10 lbs. per acre. Apply at first sign of bloom. Repeat every 2 weeks or as required.
CARROTS, BEETS & Other VEGETABLE ROOT CROPS, ASPARAGUS: Use 3 - 10 lbs. per acre. Apply early in the growing season and continue every 2 to 3 weeks throughout the growing season.
DECIDUOUS FRUITS, NUT CROPS such as Apples, Almonds, Apricots, Cherries, Filberts, Peaches, Pears, Plums, Prunes, Pecans, Pistachios, Nectarines, Walnuts: Apply early in the growing season and continue throughout the season to supplement normal fertility programs. Apply as a pre-bloom and post-bloom spray. Rate per acre will depend on the amount of carrier applied per acre. In dilute spray applications, use 3 to 8 pounds per 100 gallons of water. In concentrated
spray applications, use 10 to 15 pounds per acre. Avoid combining with materials that may cause russeting on fruit. A post harvest application of 10 to 40 lbs. per acre can enhance tree vigor and increase nutrient levels
within fruiting spurs for the following season. Do not use this product on Golden Delicious apples during slow drying conditions.
CITRUS: Use 10 to 30 pounds per acre in sufficient water for thorough coverage. Do not apply under conditions of low humidity and high heat.
HOPS: Ground application: Use 5 to 10 lbs. per acre in 100 to 200 gallons of water. Air application: use 5 to 8 lbs. per acre in 10 gallons of water. For best results apply when vines are half way up trellis wire then again once vines reach the top of the wire.
GRAPES: Ground application: Use 5 to 10 lbs. per acre in 20 to 100 gallons of water. Air application: Use 5 to 10 lbs. per acre in a minimum of 10 gallons of water. Apply as pre-bloom and post-bloom spray.
POTATOES (Irish and Sweet): Apply 5 to 10 lbs. per acre when plants reach 4 to 6 inch diameter rosette (hooking stage). Applications should be made at 2 to 3 week intervals or as tissue testing indicates.
CORN (Field, Sweet and Popcorn): Apply 5 to 10 lbs. per acre. Start applications when corn is 9” high and again prior to tasseling.
LETTUCE, CELERY, COLE CROPS, LEAFY VEGETABLES: Use 5 to 10 lbs. per acre. Apply after transplanting or thinning. Repeat every 10 to 14 days. The use of a surfactant at a rate of 1 pint per 100 gallons of water may increase wetting and coverage.
FIELD CROPS such as Cotton, Soybeans, Peanuts, Sunflower, Sugar Beets, Table Beets: Apply 5 to 10 pounds per acre throughout the growing season. Start applications when plants have 6” to 8” of growth. Sugar Beets: Use 5 to 10 lbs. per acre. Apply when leaves are 10 inches across. Repeat at 3 to 4 week intervals. The use of a surfactant at a rate of 1 pint per 100 gallons of water may increase wetting and coverage.
MINT: Use 5 to 10 lbs. per acre per application. Apply when growth has reached 6 to 8 inches and repeat after each cutting.
ONIONS, GARLIC: Use 8 to 10 lbs. per acre. Begin applications prior to bloom. Repeat 2 - 3 weeks later.
TOMATOES, PEPPERS, CUCURBITS, MELONS, SQUASH: Apply 5 to 10 lbs. prior to bloom. Use one to three applications at 2 - 3 week intervals. Apply in sufficient water to obtain thorough coverage.
BERRIES (Strawberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, Boysenberries): Use 3 to 10 lbs. per acre in spring on new growth. Repeat prior to bloom and again after bloom. Use sufficient water for good coverage.
CRANBERRIES: Use 8 to 10 lbs. per acre. Apply at popcorn stage. Repeat 3 weeks later.
